The Tournament of Crests is About To Begin

Yup, it's yet another tournament. From the makers of the pointless Tournament of Might and the kinda interesting yet still pointless Slay the Barbarians Tournament comes a tournament that, hopefully, for a change of pace gives everyone better odds at winning... maybe... presenting the Tournament of Crests (and darnit it has nothing to do with brushing your teeth!)

Now that the game has brought in Sir Percival, Sir Galahad and Sir Lancelot it means there are new Crests now available (which sadly also means you better get to know these new crests as they no doubt will be the benchmark for your quest for the upcoming fifth city if I know my KoC right). To promote the launch of the new level of crests, the game is holding a tournament of crests.

Launching Thursday, August 19th at 12:01 AM PST and ending promptly on Monday, August 23rd at 11:59PM PST you need to search in the following areas to find crests.

First, how do you go about winning crests?
According to the flyer concerning the tournament "To win a Crest, you must win an attack against an unowned Wilderness of level 5-10. You do not have to conquer it, only be victorious in the battle. If a Wilderness does not have all of its Troops (it has been attacked in the last hour), you will have a lesser chance of winning a Crest. Different types of Crests drop based off level of wilderness, and drop rates increase in higher level wildernesses."

In a Level 5-10 wilderness you'll find Sir Bor, Ector and Kay crests, which are used to build your third city.

In a Level 6-10 wilderness you'll find Sir Bedivere, Gaiwan and Percival crests, which are used to build your fourth city.

And finally in a Level 8-10 wilderness you'll find Sir Galahad, Percival and Lancelot crests, which no doubt will be used in building the yet to be announced Fifth City.

Like in past tournaments each of the top 1000 participants on each domain will win a prize! Prizes include free Gems (top five players), Divine Inspirations (next dozen or so players), Hourglass Speed-ups, and more. First place on each domain wins 1000 free Gems!

Don't forget to RSVP! A drawing will be held at the end of the tournament giving out 100 free gems to x amount of people who RSVP before the tournament begins.
